The host family were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The breakfast they provided was absolutely delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it was within walking distance to a charming little village with several restaurants. It was also very peaceful and serene, allowing us to relax and unwind during our city trip.

One minor downside was the layout of the bathroom, with the toilet and shower being separated at opposite ends of the room. While not a major issue, it was a bit unusual and took some getting used to.

The value for money at this accommodation is excellent - great room and amenities. The location is picturesque, quiet, and historic. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were incredibly helpful, even though there was a language barrier.

The only improvement I would suggest for the breakfast choices is a wider variety of options.

The breakfast at Domaine Gigou was outstanding, with a great selection of fruits, fresh cakes, and hot chocolate, definitely worth the price. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, including the owner. The hotel is perfectly located near restaurants, the village center, and a cave.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming B&B in La Chartre-sur-le-Loir. The owner, Mme Gigou, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to assist me. When I arrived late due to a delayed journey, she made some helpful restaurant suggestions and even provided a delicious bottle of wine to enjoy with the pizza I brought back. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. The breakfast spread was extensive and Mme Gigou was very accommodating. I particularly enjoyed visiting their cave to sample and purchase their excellent wine. Despite a minor issue with the shower head and squeaky doors, the value for money was superb. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others. it was a wonderful experience.

I had a lovely time here. The location was beautiful and the staff were pretty friendly. One of the advantages was the cheap and exceptionally comfortable rooms that included shower facilities and bath sheets. , it was just a 10-minute walk to downtown.
